Return to Activity
Build your way back.
Recovery is an active process.
Movement, strength and confidence can all be progressively rebuilt to prepare your body for the demands you're returning to.
That might be work.
Running.
Lifting.
Martial arts.
Hiking.
Sport.
Or everyday life.
Start where you are. Build from there.
Every injury, every body and every recovery is different.
We start by understanding your current capacity and the demands you're preparing for.
From there, we progressively develop movement, control and strength to help bridge the space between where you are today and where you're heading.
The process is individual.
The principle is simple:
Build the capacity for the demands ahead.
How we work toward your return
Understand
We start by getting a clear picture of where you are today.
We'll look at your injury, your recovery so far, your current movement and physical capacity, and the activities you're preparing to return to.
That gives us a starting point.
Reintroduce movement
Movement becomes an opportunity to build.
We'll explore what your body is ready for and progressively develop movement, control and confidence from there.
Build capacity
As your body adapts, we progressively increase movement, strength and loading.
The closer you get to returning, the more your training can begin to reflect the demands of your work, sport or activity.
Return
This is where the work becomes yours.
You take the movement, strength and capacity you've built and put it back into your life.
The aim is confidence in your body and the freedom to use it.
Related Approaches
Recovery is something you build.
Every repetition, every movement and every increase in capacity gives your body another experience to learn from.
Over time, those experiences add up.
You move.
You load.
You adapt.
You build trust through experience.
And you carry that capacity forward.
